McAfee Works Together to Make a Local Impact

Madison Firios Fed 40, Projects

This July, McAfee employees gathered in Plano, Texas for their all-hands meeting. As a team, they decided to use some of their time together to make a local impact. They chose to participate in one of our Hunger Projects as their charitable event.

They have worked with us before and loved the high-energy, high-impact experience that you receive at each of our meal packaging events. In a little over an hour, their team had already packaged 25,056 healthy meals that will be distributed through our Fed 40 program to their local community.

Angela Roberts, a Software Channel Account Manager for McAfee, shared how much fun she had at the project saying, “It’s a really great way for all of us to be together and help the community at the same time.”

All of the food that they packaged will be distributed locally through our food assistance program, Fed 40. We created this program to be a lifeline for children and families in need. We are reaching children who face hunger in America and providing them with hope through nutritious meals and programs that create self-sufficiency.
