Google is searching for more than 700 Hunger Heroes to help package 250,000 healthy meals for orphans in Zambia.

For this Hunger Project, Google Fights Hunger, the search engine giant is partnering with Family Legacy and Feeding Children Everywhere and is inviting members of the community to join them for a volunteering experience like no other at Google’s West Campus 2 on March 8, from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. PST.

There will be music booming, lentils flying and hairnets as far as the eye can see as Googlers and other volunteers roll up their sleeves and work side-by-side in shifts, having fun and packaging meals assembly line style.

The meals will be distributed by Family Legacy, an organization committed to making a difference in the lives of Zambian orphans. Family Legacy serves these orphans by providing a quality education and residential care, and is working to transform the nation of Zambia one child at a time.

Volunteers of all ages are still needed!
