UCF Students are Packing to Attack Hunger One Meal At A Time

Ericka Riker Projects

For the 7th straight year, dedicated University of Central Florida students came together to accomplish something amazing: packaging meals for hungry children and families. Started in 2011, Pack to Attack is an annual Hunger Project hosted by members of the UCF Greek Life community.

Packing for Good

On Monday, November 19th, eager students crowded 20 meal packing lines early in the morning to package our Italian Veggie Bites meal. One hour later, they had reached their goal. The result was nearly 21,000 meals benefiting the Human Crisis Center. The center, based right in Orlando, serves hungry individuals and families in the surrounding areas.

Our events are designed to make just as much of an impact on you as it does on the lives affected by the meals. You choose the recipient, you bring the volunteers and we do the rest! But don’t forget to bring the two most important things: a positive attitude and a desire to change the world for the better!
