  • 5,000 Chick-fil-A volunteers.
  • 400 assembly lines.
  • Packaging one million meals for hungry families.
  • All in just one hour!

On Feb. 14, Chick-fil-A volunteers will do something never attempted before in the history of FCE, or possibly ever! Their mission? Package a million healthy meals for hungry people … in just one hour.

“This will be the first time FCE has ever worked with that many people at once,” Jarrod Fucci, vice president of program operations at Feeding Children Everywhere explains. “We’ve never done a project over 100 assembly lines, and we’ve never packaged a million meals in an hour. But we’re going to set up 400 assembly lines, and with 5,000 key volunteers, we’re going to do it. And it’s going to be awesome!”

FCE’s partnership with Chick-fil-A is a longstanding one, beginning in 2014 when FCE was brought in for Chick-fil-A Leader Academy kick off events in high schools across the United States.

Since then, Chick-fil-A has mobilized 42,729 volunteers to package 3,964,547 meals with FCE together for a hunger-free world.

Adding to the totals above, the million meals that Chick-fil-A team members package with FCE on Feb. 14 will be distributed to cities throughout the U.S. to hungry families.
