We created Full Cart to make it easier for hard working individuals and families to extend their grocery budget. The main costs are covered by generous sponsors and the recipients cover just the cost of shipping — enabling them to take control of their future and connecting them with life-changing career resources.
Busy schedules, expensive bills, and limited access to food make an empty food cabinet all too common in America. Sometimes that’s caused by a lost job or low access to better employment options. Career Services are a great way to get back on track and take control of your future.
To maximize impact of our food distribution, we’re combining our efforts with strategic community transformation projects. These projects include the improvement of education, agriculture, women’s health initiatives and economic development. Our focus is to lead refugee settlements, post-conflict zones and areas of extreme poverty toward self-sustainability.
Domestic Meal Distribution
The domestic feeding arm of Feeding Children Everywhere, U.S. Hunger serves the 45 million Americans living below the poverty line, including millions of children, seniors and veterans across the country. We are able to distribute our meals to U.S. food organizations close to where they are packaged. Host your own Hunger Project to make an impact in your local community.
When natural disasters occur, communities join together to rebuild. We show up in times of need to activate people in immediate response to help those who need it most. Each disaster relief meal kit includes food items that can sustain people without access to basic necessities that we often take for granted.
As part of our Pledge to Sustainability and commitment to eliminating food deserts, we are working to expand micro farming nationwide. Activating bike-powered volunteers, we’re turning people’s front yards into organic farms.
