Internship Coordinator


REPORTS TO: VP of People & Culture

DEPARTMENT: Human Resources

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Hourly, Non-Exempt

HOURS: Full Time (40 hours)

Position Summary:

The Internship Coordinator will manage Feeding Children Everywhere’s Internship Program, including forecasting intern needs, recruitment and selection, onboarding, training, professional development and ensuring every department has an adequate number of interns. This also includes but is not limited to conducting in-person interviews, selection and placement of applicants and providing management with adequate training tools to successfully supervise new intern hires.

  • Coordinate Intern Promotions
    • Manage all University contacts/relationships
    • Schedule/staff all University speaking engagements
    • Schedule/staff all Career Fairs
    • Schedule/staff all canvassing promotions
    • Update promotional blasts
    • Update promotional materials (per semester)
      • Intern postcard
      • Tabling materials
      • University/Professor/Liaison Gifts
    • Keep Intern website information fresh and up to date
  • Continuous Training
    • Deliver 3 continuous trainings per semester
    • Create training content
    • Provide accountability to managers to properly train new interns
  • Manage Veteran Intern Program
    • Request and distribute Veteran Intern stipends once a month
    • Schedule Veteran Intern meetings
    • Host a Veteran Intern Retreat at the beginning of each semester
  • Orientation
    • Finalize schedule
    • Work with Strategic Partnerships to book mock Hunger Project group for training purposes
    • Manage all training details

Minimum Requirements

  • BACHELOR’S DEGREE (Preferred)
