Project 3 Meal Recipients

Feeding Children Everywhere sends meals to crisis food pantries located in public schools. Over 40% of students in the United States are on the government free or reduced price meal program. Many of those students receive their only meal of the day while at school. These crisis food pantries are their lifeline for nourishment at night and on weekends. Feeding Children Everywhere has chosen 30 school districts across the United States that will each receive 100,000 healthy meals. See below for the list of school districts that have accepted so far:

  • Jackson, MS – Jackson Public Schools
  • Lakeland, FL – Polk County Public Schools

We have many children and their families with inadequate access to nutritious food and this will be a wonderful support for them!

I am so excited that OKCPS will be so fortunate to receive the donation of meals this year- this will be so helpful to so many of our families. Thank you again. I just cannot tell you how grateful we are.
